The Global Program Support group brings together the
expertise of management and technical resources from across OIT to support the
sound evolution of our global programs and operations.
Human Resources
The Human Resources Office supports OIT by providing consultation and support to foster a respectful work environment that inspires excellence. The HR Office supports staff development and works to continually enhance OIT's work culture, founded on the belief that a diverse, respectful environment allows staff to exceed expectations. OIT HR is committed to advancing Duke's strategic mission of excellence in education, research and patient care through support of a creative and dynamic community.
News & Information
The OIT News & Information group ensures that people have all the information they need about technology at Duke. News & Information consults with project teams for large OIT initiatives, writes and/or edits much of the material published about technology at Duke, advises service owners and Service Desk personnel on their communications with customers, and manages Web content explaining services to end users. The group also acts as the primary contacts for members of the media interested in learning more about technology at Duke. The Office of the CIO also supervises the work of the IT Security Office.
