Enterprise Systems & Support
OIT Application and Database Services provides programming and database administration services for enterprise administrative systems such as SAP Financials, Human Resources, Payroll and Student Information Services & Systems (SISS). The group's ervices may be contracted at an hourly rate or according to an annual service level agreement (SLA).
Enterprise Support Services
Enterprise Support Services provides second-level support for a number of institutional applications, including SAP, SISS and Remedy.
Database Administration
The Database Administration team provides everything from conceptual database design to the tuning of production systems, developing business-continuity and disaster-recovery strategies, and maintaining data models and standards consistent with strategic database management systems.
Learning Management Systems (LMS)
The Learning Management Systems team manages the Blackboard and Sakai learning management systems, including upgrades, requirements analysis and technical specifications, research and development, and testing and quality control. For additional information, visit Duke's Blackboard and Sakai sites.
Remedy Support
The Remedy support team is responsible for operational support and continual improvement of the IT support tool set and systems' environment. The Remedy team manages all aspects of the tools used to provide IT Support at Duke (Remedy, Remedy Knowledge Management (RKM), Telalert and front-end Web and system integration).
SAP Basis/Development
The SAP Basis and Development Team provides technical support for a collection of systems, applications, and services running administrative business processes for the university and Health System. For more information on SAP at Duke, visit http://r3.duke.edu.
Student Information Services and Systems (SISS)
The SISS team manages a host of applications (ACES/Storm, ImageNow, PeopleSoft, and Resource25) and services (digital imaging, business process management, student administration and others). For additional SISS information, please visit http://www.sissoffice.duke.edu
Web Development
The Web Development team is responsible for development, continuing improvement and support of custom Web applications. The team specializes in development of custom business applications such as the Event Calendar, DukePass, Student eCheck, DukePay integrations, Alumni Interview and Young Alumni Management Systems, Department Schedule Validator, Duke Engage and Graduate School Student Financials.
