The artists formerly known as Blackwell Interactive provide the greater Duke community with a "one-stop Web shop" for Web strategy, design, development and consulting services. The unit provides Web design, Web application and database services and front-end transitional development services, and maintains an array of toolsets for use by other Web developers at Duke. Interactive Technology Services provides Duke with media and collaborative technology consulting services and application development and integration services. Specific services include:
- Infrastructure services for lecture and event recording and transcoding (DukeCapture)
- Interactive media tools development
- Digital media streaming and distribution (DukeStream)
- Web and video conferencing
- Audio/video integration consultation
- Virtual world consulting services
Software Licensing Services

Software Licensing Services coordinates software licensing across Duke and enables staff, faculty and students to access software titles at greatly reduced rates by maintaining many of Duke’s large-scale and campus-wide licenses (such as antivirus software). Academic Computing Lab Engineering

Academic Computing Lab Engineering participates in the planning and support of academically driven IT initiatives that impact students through the maintenance and improvement of student lab computing services at Duke. The unit creates and distributes Windows, Macintosh and LINUX software images for OIT-managed academic computing and multimedia labs throughout campus.
